Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the continued evolution of the vision, strategy and ways of working for our Americas team
  • Management and production of virtual, hybrid and in-person events across multiple Latin American countries (Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru) and Miami (Pan-Latam business in USA) in partnership with our internal stakeholders and crossfunctional partners
  • Collaborate with LATAM Event Marketing Lead to develop 360-degree event marketing strategies that include input from cross-functional teams and align with overall Facebook strategy and branding. Evaluate and report on events success as part of overall business goals
  • Event programming: Work with cross-functional teams and LATAM Event Marketing Lead to ensure positioning, messaging, goals, deliverables, and tactics are achieved before, during, and after each respective event. Ensure events deliver impact both at the messaging level as well as the client level
  • Event leadership: Concept, develop, up-level and produce virtual or onsite event programs for specific Facebook advertising events, conferences and trade shows that support sales team efforts
  • Foster feedback loop with cross-functional teams to continually measure event effectiveness - define and refine event metrics as part of overall marketing effectiveness
  • Develop and review creative concepts for onsite or virtual events and work with marketing teams and GMS (Global Marketing Solutions) partners to build and enhance programs
  • Share best practices and scale assets through clear communication
  • Maintain an understanding of major, relevant LATAM events and industry moments, and through ongoing research and marketplace monitoring, stay abreast of relevant competitive experiential marketing programs and activations across industry verticals
  • Work with marketing and events partners including agencies, digital, live stream/video, registration, facilities, catering, security, shipping, and other event logistics partners
  • Collaborate with event marketing team to continually refine best practices and standards across Facebook, and then build on them for future event planning, execution and measurement
  • Cultivate strong industry relationships with marketing partners and key vendors and work to incorporate more of Facebook’s platforms into all event experiences
  • Manage and maintain good relationships with the main business marketing stakeholders in LATAM (based in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Bogotá and Miami)
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams such as business, creative, product, media, and technical teams, ensuring alignment among all involved
  • Work closely with global and cross-functional counterparts to ensure cohesion and scalability for event messaging, campaigns and product launches
  • Manage project timelines
  • Budget ownership and project management for multiple programs, keeping stakeholders aligned and able for approvals when needed

 

Requirements:

 

  • Experience of marketing strategy, preferably in the advertising, marketing technology, or media industry working in onsite and virtual event management role
  • Working with cross-functional teams or stakeholders
  • Direct experience concepting and developing programming for event marketing programs, including virtual programs
  • Direct experience managing advertising industry events
  • Thorough understanding of client-side marketing and the holistic role of events (inperson and virtual) in the context of overall marketing strategy
  • Exceptional project management experience, setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every Project
  • Ability to work across various levels of the organization while building trust and fostering collaboration
  • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines, while managing several programs simultaneously
  • Familiarity with competitive marketing landscape
  • Desire to consistently enhance programs, bringing new ideas to the table
  • Interest in learning in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Must be a team player
  • Travelling regularly for site inspections and events across LATAM countries and Miami, and for business meetings across other countries around the globe when needed (in line with CDC guidelines and policies)
